Several rodent operating stations are available in BSB 2003 and 2009. All are equipped with mechanical ventilators and microscopes for open-chest surgical procedures. One station in BSB 2003 utilizes a precision vaporizer for isoflurane anesthesia and is set up for sterile survival surgeries with a water-circulating-heating pump, physiological monitors, and imaging equipment.
