Our labs operate a network of roughly 15 computers, desktop machines and several laptops, each running the Windows XP Professional or Home edition operating system. We maintain a file/print server using Windows Server 2000 which is used for storing large amounts of data and provides access to the network printer and website. Several stand-alone machines not connected to the network for security reasons and are used for data acquisition.
