The Biplane Cine radiography system is housed in Room 2003 of the Basic Science Building. The two planes are powered by 125KV generators facing 6" image intensifiers. The AP plane is housed on a "C" arm and the Lateral tube and image intensifier are suspended from ceiling cranes. With continous Xray the frame rate is limited only by the cameras. Redlake 125 fps synchronized progressive scan video cameras are mounted on each image intensifier. Simultanous AP and Lateral 640 x 480 images are acquired and saved on a PC along with hemodynamic data.
